Beauty Would You Rather Tag

Hey guys

I haven’t done a tag in a while and thought it’d be fun to answer a few questions, so lets get into it.

1. Would you rather only ever wear eye makeup or skin makeup?

Definitely eye make-up. I just think I can get the most creative with my eye makeup, as I have plenty of colours to choose fron with my big eyeshadow pallets. However, id feel a bit more limited for choice with skin make-up – plus I dont like to cover up my freckles in the summer as I quite like them.

2. Would you rather cut off all your hair, or never cut your hair again?

Id honestly rather never cut my hair again. Its taken me years to get my hair how I like it, so although I hate split ends id feel odd without long hair.

3. Would you rather always wear your clothes too big, or too small?

Too big. I technically do that in winter anyway as I love my oversized jumpers – theyre just so cosy! I’m size 12, but will sometimes buy size 16 in jumpers just for comfort.

4. If you were given £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Probably makeup, as im forever scrolling through the makeup revolution instagram wishing it was all mine. 😂 plus I only wear the same 5 outfits anyway, so itd be a waste of clothes and money if I brought clothes

5. Would you rather wear lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

Probably eyeliner as lipstick. Im sure you could get red eyeliners, so it wouldnt be any different than using lip crayons.

6. Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or Biker Shorts in public?

Probably MC hammer trousers, as I dont have the best ass – making biker shorts a bit revealing for me. Id sooner cover it up and feel a bit stupid but comfy, than struggle to hide it and feel self concious all day.

7. Would you rather never be able to fill in your eyebrows or only fill them in using a sharpie?

Never fill my eyebrows, as I dont fill them in anyway. Theyre so thick, so no matter how careful I am they always end up looking like slugs anyway.

8. Would you rather never pluck your eyebrows, or never shave your legs?

Never pluck my eyebrows. I can pay to get them threaded ( is that cheating? 😂) plus I like wearing dresses in the summer, so need my legs to be all smooth and freshly shaved.

Firstly, sorry this isnt a tuesday upload like normal, but this whole concept made me feel like making a quick, spontaneous post. ( And yes, I still have a post ready for tuesday so dont worry!)

Here are the questions I was asked.

1.Have you traveled?
Yes, although I probably wouldnt alone as its so stressful. Inside the UK ive been to liverpool, milton keynes, Stratford and birmingham. I’ve also planned to go to Sorrento ( Italy ) with dad next year, and have been to Tenerife a few times. Theyre all so lovely, id definetly recomend them.

2.Whats the one product you cant live without?
Concealer (specifically, Rimmel’s wake me up concealer)

3. Do you have a day job?
Nope. Im currently in the middle of my college course, so dont think id be able to juggle assignments and a job. Its a must that I get a job once my college course is over though.

4. What is your favourite post on your blog?
They’re not up yet, but are written and  shall be up over the next 2 tuesdays. Watch this space 😏

5. What inspires your blog posts?
Probably just the fact that because im an anonymous blog, i can write whatever I like without feeling limited, and worrying about judgement ( this is not to be confused with mean online trolls though). I mean this in a way where i can freely talk about sexuality, including my own, coming out and self acceptance – where as if i wasn’t anon im 99.9% people in my class would find it, and take the piss. I guess anon is kind of like my safe place, to truely, unapologeticically and honestly express my opinions on big topics.

6. Any hidden talents?
I guess this is my hidden tallent, as no one  in real life knows I have a blog, and people online seem to enjoy reading my posts. ( is that a cop out answer? 😂)

7. Who is your role model?
I feel like this is obvious – but Hannah Hart. (MyHarto on youtube) without her, I probably wouldnt have had the guts to speak up and try to be heard, when it comes to things like sexuality.

8. What is your favourite beauty brand?
Revolution

9. What got you into blogging?
Ive always been creative and loved writing, plus sometimes I iudt need a creative outlet as im a bit of a worrier.

10. Sweet or savory?

Sweet – I may have a slight obsession with chocolate bourbons.

11. Whats your favourite song?
Voodoo Doll or Money by 5SOS.

The British Tag

Hey guys!

I haven’t wrote anything in a while and do enjoy doing the occasional tag, so here you go!

How many cups of tea do you have a day, and how many sugars

Usually 3 or 4 at the most, with 2 sweeteners . ( theyre not as bad for you as sugar, and I can hardly tell the difference )

Favorite part of your roast?

Definetly the roast potatoes. Sometimes theyre roasted with garlic and rosemary, other times theyre sprinkled with seasoning – and theyre always delicious!

Favorite dunking biscuit?

Chocolate chip buiscuits, or chocolate bourbons.

Favorite quintissentially british pastime?

Maybe going out to a nice pub and having a calvery on a sunday,  because my family always used to do that in the summer when I was younger.

Favorite word?

“Faffing.” Im not sure why, but I say it quite a lot.

Cockney rhyming slang?

I dont know much cockney rhyming slang, other than “apples and pears”.

Favorite sweet?

Sometimes, on the rare occasion, I love chocolate lime sweets. Theyre basically a hard, boiled lime sweet wigh chocolate in the middle. It probably sounds weird, but theyre so nice.

What would your pub be called?

My grandma was the reason I took interest in baking/cooking in the first place, so I feel like itd only be fair to name it after her. Also, its always a real treat as she bakes everything from scratch, so maybe “Val’s homemade treats” or something like that. Im not sure.

No.1 british person?

Zoe Sugg ( aka Zoella) . Ive watched her videos for a few years now, and she always comes across as such a lovely person in her vlogs. Plus I kind of wish I could do my makeup as well as she can!

Favorite shop/resturant

A resturant I love is The Harvester. Its a tad expensive, but the meals are amazing – plus you cant go wrong with a free salad bar.

What British song pops into your head?

All About You by Mcfly. Ive loved this band for a good 10 years ( so since I was 8 years old) and all their old songs will always be my favorite because they bring back so many memories.

Marmite?

Yuck, I hate it! I’d sooner have Bovril on toast instead.
