Hey guys!
Gradually over the past couple of months ( since april) I collected these items, but didnt really end up using any (bar 1) until may – so I decided to save this post until I’d had time to try them. So lets get into it.
The first thing I got was this silver necklace on the merch stand at the 5SOS SLFL concert in birmingham. It retailed at £15, and at first, I had a few issues with it. The clasp on the back was too small so I could barely see to do it up, and the chain had a reputation of making your neck green. However, I loved it and couldn’t part from it so put a new chain and clasp put on. ( luckily it was free, as my grandma makes jewellery so changed it.)
Since then I have been obsessed with this necklace and have worn it with so many outfits, as it goes with everything. However, If you don’t want to get it changed for whatever reason – then the necklace might not be for you.
I also got the Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm, from Boots. It retailed at £5 and has 100ml in it, so considering a little goes a long way, then its great value for money.
Honestly, I wasnt sure what I first thought about how well this product actually works – as I the first time i wore it was at a concert. As i was out for 11 hours, and spent nearly 3 hours in heavy rain then 2 hours drenched in sweat as I danced and jumped around – it was hard to tell how good it was. Granted my highlight and bronzer had gone, but my foundation and concealer were still there so It seemed good – but it was hard to make a proper judgement on it.
However, ive worn it since then and I can now confirm that it really does work, as my makeup has lasted all day.I even had a nap for an hour and my make-up didnt budge – making it the best primer ive ever had!
As the summer is coming up, ive been really into more pastel coloured nail varnishes lately – so have been reaching for the Tanya Burr nail varnish in the colour “Pick’n’Mix” lately.
Firstly, I love the gold packaging as it just makes the whole thing look so much more special. Also, the actual nail varnish itself applies so easily, as its the perfect consistency and dries quite quickly. This is so handy, as I personally can’t stand it when nail varnish is too runny and needs a billion coats to look nice. Overal, the colour is beautiful and I love everything about it, so I’ll definitely be purchasing more in the future.
Ive also been loving the highlighter in this Makeup Revolution, blush, bronze and highlight kit. This kit retailed at £3.50 in Superdrug. To be honest, Im not keen on the blush, but the matte bronzer gives such a pretty, sun kissed finish.
However, as you all know – I love highlighter A LOT, so of course the highlighter stood out to me. You only need a small amount as its so strong – one delecate swipe across each cheekbone is all I need and im good to go. Plus it’s the tiniest bit glittery, giving it so much intensity, so its perfect for any highlight addicts like myself!
Finally, my favorite singer at the moment is Chester See. His voice is so beautiful, and his lyrics are so emotional and a little bit soppy ( in the best possible way) . If I was to reccomend any of his songs id definetly encourage you to listen to “Falling For You” as the lyrics are probably the best I’ve heard in a long time.
Thats all for now, what are your favorites? Let me know in the comments below.
